Long before Orochi ever emerges, the potential for her existence lies buried within Allyra’s bloodline, waiting for the circumstances that will eventually bring her forth.

In appearance, Orochi resembles Allyra, though transformed by her serpentine nature. Her body is marked by scales, and in place of human legs she possesses the powerful tail of a great serpent. She is both familiar and unsettling, reflecting the woman she originates from while revealing the demonic lineage that Allyra spent much of her life unaware of. Orochi is not a separate creature imposed upon Allyra from without. She is an aspect of Allyra herself, a manifestation of instincts, inheritance, and power that have always existed beneath the surface.

The circumstances surrounding Orochi’s emergence are complex. While the potential for Orochi is entirely natural, her development is heavily influenced by the interference of Nicolas DeSilva and Chester. Through their manipulation of snakes, Immortalis blood, and Allyra herself, they deliberately exacerbate the dormant serpentine nature inherited from Reftha. Their actions do not create Orochi, but they accelerate and shape processes that were already latent within Allyra’s body and soul. These interventions also contribute to the creation of Absolem, binding the two developments together in ways that neither Allyra nor Orochi initially understand.

Despite this interference, Orochi does not immediately arise as an Evro. The dormant serpent within Allyra remains incomplete until her transformation into a true Immortalis. Only after consuming the blood of the Immortalis and taking part of Lilith into herself does Allyra undergo the final changes necessary for Orochi to manifest fully. At that point the dormant inheritance, biological manipulation, Immortalis blood, and divine consumption converge, allowing Orochi to emerge as Allyra’s realised Evro.

Orochi embodies the oldest and most instinctive elements of Allyra’s nature. Where Allyra often acts through determination, curiosity, and a desire for personal freedom, Orochi represents appetite, survival, predatory instinct, and inherited power. She is the serpent beneath the skin, the part of Allyra shaped not by upbringing or choice but by blood. Yet she is not mindless. Like all Evros, she reflects essential truths about the individual from whom she emerges, revealing aspects of Allyra that cannot easily be hidden or denied.

Orochi becomes deeply entwined with the gestation of Absolem, playing an important role in maintaining and sustaining his development. Alongside Chester, Archie, and Pauley, she contributes to a process whose true purpose remains concealed behind layers of deception. Nicolas presents these events as necessary, while carefully withholding his broader intentions. As with so many aspects of Plan BAT, Orochi finds herself involved in schemes whose full scope is known only to the Nicolai.

Nicolas regards Orochi as a vital component of his long-term plans and repeatedly encourages greater integration between Allyra and her Evro. The explanations he offers rarely reflect his true motivations. To Allyra, he presents the process as beneficial, necessary, or protective. In reality, Orochi represents another avenue through which he hopes to secure control over outcomes that Allyra would prefer to determine for herself.

Ultimately, Orochi stands as a living expression of Allyra’s demonic heritage and transformation. She is neither an artificial creation nor a wholly independent being. She is the culmination of a lineage stretching back to Reftha, shaped by the manipulations of Nicolas and Chester, and brought fully into existence through Allyra’s ascension into a true Immortalis. Through Orochi, the hidden serpent within Allyra finally rises to the surface, revealing a power that had been waiting since the day she was born.
